Present Mode is a shared-screen review presentation designed to be launched during a follow-up visit with a patient who has been on the program.
It pulls the patient's actual data from the portal and formats it as a personalized review and walks the two of you through where things stand. It replaces the paper-and-verbal-summary conversation with a clean visual anchor for the follow-up.
Present Mode is at its most useful when there is real data to look at together — enough check-ins to show a trend, enough session activity to see what the patient has engaged with, and enough time on the program for the conversation to be about direction rather than setup.
Present Mode is not built for the first visit.
What the slides cover
The review walks through the patient’s story in the same order each time, so you can settle into a familiar rhythm across follow-ups.
“Title and contents” — Personalized to the patient by name, with a table of contents listing the sections that follow.
“What you’ve done” — Weeks with Oto, therapy sessions completed, check-ins captured — the "so far" summary.
“Where you are now” — The most recent check-in score with the delta from the first check-in framed as points changed.
“How your scores have changed” — A line chart of check-in scores over time, showing the trajectory across weeks.
“How different parts have changed” — A subscale bar chart showing which areas of the patient's experience have moved most — relaxation, how much it bothers them, focus and thinking, sleep, daily life, mood and feelings, hearing and listening, and feeling in control.
“Session activity” — Talking therapy sessions completed, the most recently played session, and the modules the patient has worked through.
“What you’ve explored” — The Beyond the Core Programme content the patient has engaged with, ranked by plays.
“Listening activity” — Sound therapy usage summary, including total listening time and top sounds by plays.
“Education Series and Group Support” — Attendance and engagement with the live sessions.
“Recap / closing summary” — Consolidated view of the highlights.
“Next steps” — What comes after this visit — cadence, next check-in, program continuation.
A note on the regular portal view
Present Mode is optimized for the shared-screen moment during a visit. The regular patient view stays available for everything else — reviewing patients between visits, editing the record, running admin work, and looking at outcomes across your full caseload without walking a patient through them. Use whichever surface fits the moment you are in.
